City in ArkansasHamburg is a city in and the county seat of Ashley County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,536 at the 2020 census. The population declined by more than 10% between 2010 and 2020, resulting in a lower tax base for the region. It is the home town of NBA player Scottie Pippen. The City of Hamburg crest has a picture of a gazebo, trees, cotton, and antelope.
