Read it all → The Hamburg Commercial Historic District is a two-block area centered around the town square that includes twenty-four buildings, most of which are brick structures built before 1920. The former site of the Ashley County Courthouse is now a grassy park with a gazebo. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
