What to know about the library in Moravia
Powers Library Association serves Moravia’s 1,224 residents. Last year it logged 16,750 visits, about 13.7 for every resident, and lent 20K books, movies and e-books.
It’s open about 29 hours a week at 29 Church Street. It’s fine-free, so there are no late fees. A card also gets you e-books, audiobooks and research databases.
Last year the library ran 163 programs, 86 of them for kids up to age 11, drawing 1,474 people.
