About Green Brook
Township in Somerset County, New Jersey, USGreen Brook Township is a township in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is centrally located within the Raritan Valley region. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 7,281, an increase of 78 (+1.1%) from the 2010 census count of 7,203, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,549 (+27.4%) from the 5,654 counted in the 2000 census. What is now Green Brook was originally created as North Plainfield Township on April 2, 1872, from portions of Warren Township.
