from WikipediaRead it all ↗Forada was platted in 1903, and named for Ada Campbell, the founder's wife. A post office was established at Forada in 1904, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1954. A Presbyterian church was built in Forada in 1905.
On May 30, 2022, an EF2 tornado struck the town, severely damaging several homes and businesses.
