What to know about the library in Toronto
Toronto Public Library serves Toronto’s 205 residents. Last year it logged 1,750 visits, about 8.5 for every resident, and lent 4,795 books, movies and e-books.
It’s open about 21 hours a week at 215 W. Main St.. It’s fine-free, so there are no late fees. A card also gets you e-books, audiobooks and research databases.
Last year the library ran 76 programs, 35 of them for kids up to age 11, drawing 589 people.
