from WikipediaRead it all ↗The town was laid out as Morristown in 1850 by Joseph Morris. The present name of Amo (meaning "I love" in Latin) was adopted in 1855. Amo was incorporated as a town in 1913.
The Amo THI & E Interurban Depot/Substation was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
