The population was 1,939 at the 2020 census, and Lewiston is included in the Logan, Utah-Idaho (partial) Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Lewiston was established in 1870. Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 1,766 to 1,939 (+10%). Half of its homes were built before 1978.
