The story

from WikipediaRead it all ↗

The first settlement at Harrold was made in 1881. A post office was established as Harold in 1882, and the name was changed to Harrold in 1890. The town was named in honor of a railroad official.

In 2002, the only graduate of Harrold High School that year, April Kleinschmidt, was on The Late Show with David Letterman.
