About Armstrong
Township in Pennsylvania, USArmstrong Township is a township in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States. The township was named after General Armstrong, who commanded the celebration against Kittanning. The population was 2,786 at the 2020 census. The township includes the communities of Crete, Miller, Parkwood (formerly called Stewartsville), Tannery Village, and Thomas. It surrounds the separately incorporated borough of Shelocta.
