For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Neskowin as a census-designated place (CDP). The census definition of the area may not precisely correspond to local understanding of the area with the same name. As of the 2020 census, Neskowin had a population of 205.
Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 134 to 205 (+53%). Half of its homes were built before 1970.
