As of the 2020 census, Dennis had a population of 221. The Dennis Post Office existed from March 25, 1914, until January 31, 1956. It is said to be named for a local resident, Peter Dennis.
Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 195 to 221 (+13%). Half of its homes were built before 1987.
