Unincorporated place in Ohio, United StatesSmithfield is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Ohio, United States. The population was 869 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Weirton–Steubenville metropolitan area. Formerly an incorporated village, Smithfield voted to dissolve itself in 2019.
