from WikipediaRead it all ↗Bloomdale had its start when the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad was extended to that point. The village was platted in 1852, and given its commendatory name. A post office in Bloomdale was in operation from 1874 until March 2019. Bloomdale was incorporated in 1887.
