Town in New York, United StatesNorthampton is a town in Fulton County, New York, United States. The population was 2,670 at the 2010 census. The name comes from an original land patent. Northampton is in the northeastern corner of the county and is northeast of Gloversville. The town is known for the village of Northville, a major Adirondack community; and the Great Sacandaga Lake, which composes around 40% of the town.
