The population was 3,948 at the time of the 2020 census. It is considered part of the greater Glen Cove area, which is anchored by the City of Glen Cove. Glenwood Landing is mainly within the Town of Oyster Bay – spare for a small section in the southwest corner, which is located within the Town of North Hempstead.
