Town in New York, United StatesElma is a town in Erie County, New York, United States. The population was 11,721 at the 2020 census. The town is named after the American elm tree. Elma is in the county's central area, southeast of Buffalo. It is part of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area.
