Cumberland Head is a census-designated place and region of the town of Plattsburgh in Clinton County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, Cumberland Head had a population of 1,735. Cumberland Head is a peninsula projecting into Lake Champlain, and includes the communities of Rocky Point and Champlain Park. A landing for the Lake Champlain Transportation Company's ferry to Gordon Landing on Grand Isle, Vermont, is near the southern end of Cumberland Head. Cumberland Bay State Park is located at the northern end of the peninsula. There is a historic lighthouse on the end of Cumberland Head.
