As of the 2020 census, Zia Pueblo had a population of 760. The pueblo after which the CDP is named is included within the CDP; it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Zia Pueblo is part of the Albuquerque metropolitan area.
Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 737 to 760 (+3%). Half of its homes were built before 1982.
