Elk Township is one of twenty-four townships in Saunders County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 286 at the 2020 census. A 2021 estimate placed the township's population at 293. A small portion of the Village of Prague lies within the Township.

Its population held steady between the last two censuses: 289 people in 2010, 293 in 2020. Half of its homes were built before 1991.
