from Wikipedia & the U.S. CensusAlta Township is a civil township in Barnes County, North Dakota, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 123. The township is named after Alta Ridge, a moraine belt overlooking the Sheyenne River Valley.
Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 108 to 123 (+14%). Half of its homes were built before 1980.
