Stanley is a town in Gaston County, North Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, Stanley had a population of 3,963.

Stanley was established in 1879. Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 3,556 to 3,963 (+11%). Half of its homes were built before 1979.
