As of the 2020 census, the population was 35,417. Wildwood is the home of the Al Foster Trail, and numerous other trails, parks, and reserves such as Rockwoods Reservation and Babler State Park.
Its population held steady between the last two censuses: 35,517 people in 2010, 35,417 in 2020. Half of its homes were built before 1992.
