from WikipediaRead it all ↗Seymour was laid out in 1882. The town was named by Mr. T.P. Crabbe after Seymour, Indiana. A post office called Seymour has been in operation since 1881.
The Col. Thomas C. Love House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
