from Wikipedia & the U.S. CensusBacon Township is a township in Vernon County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. Bacon Township was erected in 1856, taking its name from James Bacon, a pioneer citizen.
Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population fell from 669 to 614 (-8%). Half of its homes were built before 1976.
