York Charter Township is a charter township of Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 9,108 at the 2020 census. The township is located north of the city of Milan and is home to the Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, which carried out the only capital punishment sentence in the state's history when Tony Chebatoris was executed in 1938.
