Riverview is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. A Downriver suburb of Detroit, Riverview is located roughly 14 miles (22.5 km) southwest of downtown Detroit. As of the 2020 census, Riverview had a population of 12,490. Riverview was incorporated as a village within Monguagon Township in 1923 and later incorporated as a city in 1959.
