About Moran
Civil township in Michigan, United StatesBrevort Township ( breh-VORT) is a civil township of Mackinac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the population was 502, down from 594 in 2010. The township was named after Henry Brevort (or Brevoort), a surveyor assigned to subdivide the area in 1845. Most of the township land is within the eastern portion of the Hiawatha National Forest. The township includes part of the Mackinac Wilderness.
