About Dayton
Township in Michigan, United StatesDayton Township is a civil township of west central Newaygo County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,994 at the 2020 census. The City of Fremont is located partially within the township and is the only incorporated municipality. Dayton Center is an unincorporated community located just a few miles north and west of Fremont at 43°30′38″N 85°58′48″W.
