Mackay (pronounced ) is a town in Custer County, Idaho, United States. The population was 439 at the 2020 census. The town is pronounced "Mackie" with the accent on the first syllable.

Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population fell from 517 to 439 (-15%). Half of its homes were built before 1976.
