The 2020 United States census reported that McClellan Park's population was 926. It is the site of the former McClellan Air Force Base, closed by the federal government in 2001. McClellan Air Force Base (currently McClellan Park) was named in honor of test pilot Hezekiah McClellan.
Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 743 to 926 (+25%). Half of its homes were built before 1982.
