Homeland is simultaneously a town, a portion of the Winchester-Homeland Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) area which aspires to become a model city, and a census-designated place (CDP) all in the unincorporated area of Riverside County, California, United States. Within the CDP, the population was 6,772 at the 2020 census, up from 5,969 at the 2010 census.

Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population grew from 5,969 to 6,772 (+13%). Half of its homes were built before 1980.
