City in Alabama, United StatesHomewood is a city located in southeastern Jefferson County, Alabama, United States. It is part of the Birmingham metropolitan area, it is located to the side of Red Mountain from Birmingham, due south of the city center. The population was estimated at 26,414 in the 2020 census.
