Getting Around Lowell

I've lived in Lowell for a while now and I'm still finding new ways to get around town, especially with the downtown area being so historic and charming. Since many of us have a commute that's pretty average for Michigan, around 25 minutes to work, I was wondering what's your best tip for navigating our local roads and finding a good parking spot, especially on a busy Friday like today?
