Sharing Local History

I was just thinking about how our town of Thurman has grown and changed over the years, and it's amazing to consider that we've been a part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area for so long. Given that our town was established back in 1792 and named after John Thurman, an early landowner, I wonder what used to stand in some of the spots we know so well today - what's a place in Thurman that you're curious about, and what do you think used to be there?
