Getting Around River Road

I love that our average commute to work is 19 minutes, which is actually lower than the state and national averages. With the Northwest Expressway and River Road forming the boundaries of our CDP, I'm curious to know what your favorite route or shortcut is for getting around town - do you have any tips to share?
