Medina ( mə-DYNE-ə) is a city in Medina County, Ohio, United States, and its county seat. The population was 26,094 at the 2020 census. It lies about 33 miles (53 km) south of Cleveland and 23 miles (37 km) west of Akron within the Cleveland metropolitan area.
