Town in New York, United StatesAmity is a town in Allegany County, New York, United States. The population was 2,185 at the 2020 census. The name of the town means "friendship." The Town of Amity is near the middle of Allegany County and is northeast of Olean. The county seat, Belmont, is in Amity.
