Laurel Downtown Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on Sep 16, 2010. It is significant for its agriculture, architecture, commerce and industry at the local level. Its architecture is described as Late 19th and Early 20th Century Revivals and Classical Revival and Mission Style and Late 19th and Early 20th Century American Movements and Commercial Style and Bungalow/Craftsman and Moderne and International Style. The district takes in 57 historic buildings.

City in Montana, United StatesLaurel is a city in Yellowstone County, Montana, United States and the third largest community in the Billings Metropolitan Statistical Area. Laurel is located in the Yellowstone Valley as an east–west terminal division point of the BNSF Railway. The population was 7,222 at the 2020 census. Laurel is home to a Cenex Harvest States oil refinery and BNSF's Laurel Yard, the largest rail yard between St. Paul, Minnesota and Pasco, Washington.
