Zwolle ( zə-WOL-ee) is a small town in Sabine Parish, Louisiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, Zwolle had a population of 1,638. Established in 1896 along the Kansas City Southern Railway, its name is attributed to Dutch financier, Jan De Goeijen, who named the settlement to honor his place of birth, Zwolle, Netherlands
