Posts belong to Ravenel town by town ID. Neighborhood views include that neighborhood and townwide posts. Neighboring towns stay separate.
When coordinates are supplied, the server checks them against the imported town polygon. Census map boundaries are generalized for display, so checks near an edge are approximate and are not proof of residence or a legal jurisdiction determination. A typed place name alone is not geocoded or spatially verified. Points on a shared boundary are accepted for the explicitly selected town.
Boundary data should be reviewed against the source before relying on it.
