Tucker is a city located near Atlanta in DeKalb County, Georgia, United States and was originally settled in the 1820s, and later developed as a railroad community in 1892. As of the 2020 census, Tucker had a population of 37,005. In a November 2015 referendum, by a 3:1 margin (73.94%), voters approved incorporating Tucker into a city. In March 2016, Tucker residents elected the city's first mayor and city council. While officially in DeKalb, unincorporated areas with a Tucker address overspill into nearby Gwinnett County.
