St. Bonaventure is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Allegany in Cattaraugus County, New York, United States. The population was 1,963 at the 2020 census. This community, located between the village of Allegany and the city of Olean, is a college town established around St. Bonaventure University.
