Populated place in Essex County, New Jersey, USBrookdale is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Bloomfield Township, located within Essex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is generally considered to be the part of Bloomfield north of Bay Avenue. As of the 2020 United States census, the CDP's total population was 9,854, an increase of 615 (+6.7%) from the 9,239 counted in the 2010 census.
