Great Bend is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Jefferson County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, Great Bend had a population of 807. Great Bend is in the northern part of the town of Champion. It is adjacent to the southern section of the Fort Drum military reservation.
